Investigation of Taiwan’s participation in International Math and Science Education Results Trend Investigation (TIMSS)

Taiwan’s students have performed well in the math and science achievement investigations; in terms of "math achievement," Taiwan’s eight grade and fourth grade students ranked 1st and 3rd place, not only a leader in the world, the rankings have also improved since the 2003 test; as for "science achievement," both grades ranked 2nd place, and have maintained world-class levels.
