What are the skills training classes for overseas youths?

To help overseas youths obtain practical knowledge, production skills, and develop agriculture, industry, and commerce in order to promote local prosperity, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission and the MOE jointly started skill s training classes for overseas youths.
National Ping Tung University of Science & Technology, Feng Chia University, Chinese Culture University, National Kaohsiung Marine University, Ta Hwa Institute of Technology, Yuan Pei Institute of Science and Technology, Providence University, Hsiuping Institute of Technology, and Chung Yuan Christian University were commissioned to start two-year skill training classes for the 25 th year with duration. All the classes are categorized by vocation in order to meet the actual needs of the respective industries. Academic training accounts for 30%, while practical training 70%. The principle is that students can learn learn the skills of a certain trade when by the time they graduate.
According to enrollment regulations, students having studied in, completed courses of study at, or graduated from (vocational) senior high schools, and students having dropped out of colleges within one (1) year , may apply to study in skill s training classes at their own expenses.
