School of Dentistry was founded in 1960, the same year as the establishment of Taipei Medical College. In 1984, research laboratories such as Oral Physiology, Prosthodontics, Dental Material, Oral Histology-Pathology, and Bacteriology labs were built. Considering dentistry as a unique synergy combining science and art, School of Dentistry provides aesthetics, ethics, and technology courses to foster students with multi-professional abilities and international vision. To ensure graduates to become a professional dentist with care for patients, School of Dentistry keeps providing the latest equipment and facilities for practice and doing research.
Research Focus:
The university hospital consists of five accredited departments: OMS department, Pedodontic department, Orthodontic department, and Prosthodontic department.
