MOE to grant 5-8 scholarships to EM applicants from Taiwan

Date:

Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (MOE) will provide 5 to 8 scholarships for Taiwanese students from Taiwan on the EU Erasmus Mundus (EM) 2013 scholarship reserve list. The scholarship offers students 12,000 Euros a year for tuition fees, living and transportation expenses. The European Economic and Trade Office (EETO) in Taipei hopes that students from Taiwan will apply in greater numbers for the EM scholarship this year. Last year, 10 students from Taiwan were chosen from a pool of 157 applicants.
The scholarship allows students to enter a 1-year EM Master’s program or 3-year EM Doctoral program. Further information can be obtained from the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office. The deadline for applications is May 15, 2013.
The registration form and information can be found on our website:Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium or by contacting the Cultural Division at Jennifer@taipei-office.be or kellyvandepaer@taipei-office.be.
