More than 35 foreign universities from 24 countries took part in the 2014 fair, among them the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, and the University of West London. And as well as these, many diplomatic missions also took part, promoting their country as a study destination: Taiwan, Japan, France, Germany, the United States, and Canada. This is always a good opportunity for the Education Division to promote Taiwan’s international higher education programs, summer school programs, Chinese learning and provide practical information about Taiwan, and encourage Swedish students to study in Taiwan.

Swedish students can get more practical educational information about Taiwan during the fair, especially details about Taiwan’s higher education system and opportunities to learn Chinese there. About 24 thousand Swedish students attended the 2014 fair, and took advantage of this opportunity to personally speak to staff from the Education Division. Most asked about scholarship programs, degree programs taught in English, and Chinese language learning programs. They expressed great interest in visiting and studying in Taiwan.
