Minister of Education Chiang Wei-ling appreciates youth volunteers on 2013 Global Youth Service Day.
Responding to the Global Youth Service Day, the Ministry of Education’s Youth Development Administration invited the Youth Volunteer Team of Chung Yuan Christian University, who took first place in the “Youth Volunteer Service for Regional Peace National Competition-environment service category,” to perform a power saving test to help save electricity at the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families’s Tatung preschool. Minister of Education Chiang Wei-ling attended this event to encourage and show appreciation to the youth volunteers. He also joined the youth volunteers, demonstrating how to save electricity, advocating the concepts and ways of saving energy, and appealing youths to join in voluntary service.
