International Junior Science Olympiad delegates from Taiwan won six gold medals, Taiwan takes first place for the 4th consecutive year.
220 competitors from thirty-eight countries participated in this year’s 10th International Junior Science Olympiad. The delegates from Taiwan won six gold medals, and for the fourth consecutive year Taiwan was placed first in the competition. The gold medal winners are: Huang Ching-Wei, Liao Hsueh-Ju, Chiu Yu-Pin, Tsai Hao-Wen, Lin Po-Han, and Cheng Ching-Hong.
At the award ceremony, Mr. Yi Ta Chen, the administrator officer from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India conveyed the congratulatory cables from President Ma Ying- Jeou, Education Minister Chiang Wei-ling, and Ambassador Tien Chung-Kwan, and congratulated them for their remarkable achievement.
