This year’s first joint excursion for the Taiwan Student Associations (TSA) of Belgium and the Netherlands took place on May 10 with 48 students from 7 universities situated in those two countries joining in: Delft University of Technology, the Free University of Amsterdam, Ghent University, KU Leuven, Leiden University, University of Amsterdam TIO, and The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The organization of the day-trip was entrusted to TSA of KU Leuven by the Taipei Representative Office in the EU & Belgium. This university has the largest TSA in Belgium.

The group visited Keukenhof National Park, the world’s largest tulip garden in the morning. And in the afternoon, they visited the windmills of Kinderdijk. Hueiwen Hsu, Director of the Education Division also participated in the activities. She expressed her gratitude to the organizers and encouraged them to continue organizing activities allowing all the students from Taiwan in the Benelux area to get to know each other and form friendships, share their experiences, and build a network for their future academic undertakings and subsequent careers.
