The 2-day 5th Taiwan Higher Education Fair was organized by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students, Taiwan, R.O.C. and held at the L'hotel Nina et Convention Centre at Tsuen Wan on October 30-31, 2015. Dr. Min-Lin Yang, Director-General of the Department of International and Cross-strait Education of the Ministry of Education (Taiwan) was invited for the Opening Ceremony.

More than 12,000 people attend this event each year, including students from the 169 Hong Kong high schools that have academic exchanges alliances with 88 Taiwan universities. The 91 participating universities provided students with myriad details of career-oriented programs and academic courses to consider choosing: learning programs leading to diplomas, higher diplomas, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and vocational training were all available.

Taiwan is an excellent choice for Hong Kong students. As well as providing world-class education, its people are renowned for their warm, welcoming and hospitable nature toward international visitors and students. This has become Taiwan’s international ‘trademark’.
