Taiwan Public Policy Internship Program for Students at ANU

Date:
The Taiwan Public Policy Internship Program is a credit-earning program for students at the Australian National University (ANU), one of the global elite partner universities of the Ministry of Education in Taiwan. Now in its 3rd year, the program is coordinated by the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) and the School of Politics and International Relations at ANU, and by National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
Since 2016, this program has given students at ANU an invaluable opportunity to observe policy making in Taiwan and to gain real world experience by undertaking a research based internship in the public sector there. Having Mandarin Chinese language skills is preferable but not strictly required.
The four successful applicants chosen for the 2018 program will undertake an internship in Taipei from January 1 to February 9 intended to “develop their research and project management skills in any specialized area of public policy and/or field of public administration”.
