Global Youth Action Plan

Date:

We implement the Global Youth Action Plan to give young people a variety of opportunities to engage in international affairs. We help self-formed youth teams design action plans focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals by guiding them through the four stages of proposal composition training, assessment and guidance, connecting internationally, and acting locally.

  • Proposal composition training

Young participants join courses on current international affairs and future developments, topic discussions, introduction to the Global Youth Action Plan, and case study presentations.

  • Assessment and guidance

Young people form teams and submit initial draft action plans. They are matched with mentors, who give them guidance and advice, and help the teams revise their plans to make them more comprehensive.

  • Connecting internationally

As the youth teams contact international organizations, we give them prompt advice and access to a reference list of international organizations to assist them in making effective connections. Through exchanges with international organizations around the world, the teams apply what they learn to revise and improve follow-up local action programs.

  • Acting locally

We guide youth teams to organize training workshops, promotional exhibitions, and other activities focused on issues of concern. At the end of the year, we hold a results networking event and acknowledge outstanding teams. Award winners are offered the opportunity to go abroad to carry out practical activities or continue to implement local projects.
