On September 29th 2013, Taiwanese rowers Wang Ming-huei (汪明輝) and Tsai Wen-hui (蔡文輝) won another bronze medal at the men's double sculls final in the 15th Asian Rowing Championships held in Lu'an City, Anhui Province in mainland China.

After hearing the news, Director-general of Sports Administration He Jhuo-fei (何卓飛) sent an immediate congratulatory message to Chinese Taipei Amateur Rowing Association President Hong Ruei-chang (洪瑞昌). President Hong then forwarded this message to Wang and Tsai to commend their outstanding performance on behalf of Director-general He.

President Hong indicated that by winning the bronze medal, Wang and Tsai have qualified for the training camp for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. In addition, their score was close to both China (gold medal) and India (silver medal), so there is a good chance for them to compete for medals in the Asian Games next year.

The 2013 Asian Championships ended on September 29th. Taiwan’s rowing team won bronze medals in both women's and men's double sculls, for a total of 2 bronze medals.
