On January 2nd, 2013 the Ministry of Education (MOE) held a press conference on the theme “Carry on past traditions and open up a way for those who follow,” announcing that the restructuring of the MOE has been completed. This symbolized that new MOE organizations have been set up and that the earlier accomplishments of the MOE, National Youth Commission, and Sports Affairs Council will give way to still further improvement and even greater innovation in Taiwan’s education.
