The 2012 National Social Education Center of the Ministry of Education and private sector groups arranged a presentation and award ceremony for Achievement in Social Care Visits

On December 19, 2012 the National Social Education Center of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and private sector groups arranged a presentation and award ceremony for Achievement in Social Care Visits. These centers collected nearly NT$ 10 million in 2012 from more than 30 private sector groups. They also invited disadvantaged individuals and groups to visit their exhibitions and participate in a wide spectrum of artistic and cultural activities. Over 60,000 disadvantaged individuals and groups attended, which was twice the number of those who attended in 2011. Political Deputy Minister Chen I-hsing (陳益興), directors of the 12 National Social Education Centers, representative sponsors and student performers participated in a group photo session.
