Student Exchange Agreement Fosters Scientific Cooperation between National Chiao Tung University and the Universite Libre de Bruxelles

In an historic visit which resulted in the establishment of an academic relations and student mobility plan, Professor Chung Wensheng of the National Chiao Tung University’s Department of Applied Chemistry participated in a student exchange agreement signing ceremony between National Chiao Tung University and the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, on May 13, 2013.

Honorable signees representing the Universite Libre de Bruxelles included Dean Francois Renier from the Faculty of Science, Professor Andree Kirsch-De Mesmaceker, from the Chemistry Department and International Relations Officer Yvon Molinghen. The Taipei Representative Office in the EU and Belgium was represented by Director Huei-wen Hsu and Secretary Tsai Ling-ring.

This 2013 agreement will begin with Master degree students in the Chemistry Department and allows both universities to send five students to their various counterparts, on an annual basis.
