Chunghwa Telecom(CHT) Press Conference of Cloud Computing System Donation
A press conference is held on October 29th, 2013, as Secretary General Jough-tai Wang, and Director Jenn-hwa Yang, Department of Information and Technology Education (DITE), on behalf of the Ministry of Education(MOE) to accept three Wiwynn AP570 Virtuoso cloud computing systems donated by Chunghwa Telecom(CHT). It is very helpful in promoting the pilot program for educating information software talents initiated by the Department. This donation marks the first cooperation between the Ministry and a telecommunications company. Eight special guests took a picture together on this occasion, where standing from left to right are Shu-jian Tu(杜書健), Wiwynn Corporation vice-general manager; Yau-hwang Kuo (郭耀煌), the information software talent education program’s principal investigator ; Jenn-hwa Yang (楊鎮華), DITE director; Jough-tai Wang (王作臺), MOE secretary general ;Yen-sung Lee (李炎松), CHT chairman & CEO; Jui-long Liu(劉瑞隆), chairman of Information Service Industry Association of R.O.C.; Mu-piao Shih (石木標), CHT director and Fu-kuei Chung (鍾福貴), president of Data Communications Business Group, CHT.
