The Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) is designed for people all around the world who want to know their level of Chinese proficiency and people who want to study, work, or do business in Chinese-speaking countries and need to present evidence of their proficiency level. This year the TOCFL tests are being administered at 2 levels in Sweden: Band A, and Band B. The Blossoming level of the Children’s Chinese Competency Certification test (CCCC) is also being administered. All applicants who pass the TOCFL Band A, or Band B, or the CCCC Blossoming level will receive a certificate.

The Education Division of the Taipei Mission in Sweden held the tests at the Hansheng Mandarin Sprak Center in Stockholm on Saturday, May 24, 2014. This year is the fifth time the TOCFL and CCCC tests have been held in Sweden. The examinees were a mixture of Swedish students, overseas students, and other foreigners. Some mentioned that they are looking forward to challenging themselves by taking TOCFL at a higher level next year.
