2014 Orientation for Taiwanese students studying in Sweden

There’s a policy requiring non-EU students to pay tuition fees, but in spite of this some Taiwanese students have elected to study in Sweden. They had been to Sweden as exchange students in the past, and decided that they wanted to come back and continue their student life here.

The 2014 orientation for Taiwanese students studying in Sweden was held by the Education Division of the Taipei Mission on October 9. Mr. Frank Chen, secretary and acting director of the Education Division, told the newly arrived students about the organization of the Education Division and how it could help them, and practical matters such as the importance of renewing their student visa. He reminded the students to study hard and provided them with useful information about the Swedish education situation.

Mr. Chen encouraged the students from Taiwan to also visit different areas in Europe and make friends from different countries.
