Photographic exhibition: A Narrative of Light and Shadow
A Narrative of Light and Shadow, a photographic exhibition, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in cooperation with the Cultural Center of the Republic of Paraguay (Cabildo), was launched to the public on June 2, 2015. The exhibition features the works of four prominent Taiwanese female photographers: Wang Hsiao-chin, Chien Fu-yu, Chang Hsiu-huang, and Chang Yung-chieh.

It presents 61 photographs divided into sections, with five different themes: Light and Shadow, Women’s History, Eternal Treasure Ship, The Heirs of the Clouded Leopard, and Mother’s Time Chart, exploring the natural beauty of Taiwan’s landscapes, its folk festivals, and the different experiences of Taiwanese women. This exhibition was a great opportunity to present their work to the Paraguayan audience.

The Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Paraguay, Mr. Jose Maria Liu, together with the former First Lady Emilia Alfaro, and the Minister for Women, Ana Maria Baiardi, hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition and later on participated with other distinguished guests in the reception prepared by the Embassy.

The exhibition was free to the public and ran from June 2 till June 16 at the Cultural Center of the Republic of Paraguay (Cabildo).
