Taiwanese Artist Hsu Chung-Yin’s Exhibition in Asunción
Taiwan artist, Master Hsu Chung-Yin held an Art Exhibition, titled "Beauty of Taiwan-Oriental Watercolor" which ran from November 2 to November 10 at the Temporary Exhibition Hall of the National Cultural Center of Paraguay (El Cabildo).

The exhibition consisted of 40 paintings of lotuses and landscapes showing the symbolic spirit of the lotus flower and the beauty of Taiwan. Master Chang’s art clearly manifests his great talent in his way of depicting lotus flowers and Taiwan’s marvelous landscapes. He says that all he wants to express and convey is his ideal of harmony and freedom.

The opening evening event was a great success with the presence of Ambassador Alexander Yui and other special guests from the education and cultural community of Paraguay. Master Hsu interacted with some guests by painting lotuses on their clothing at the opening ceremony.

During his stay in Paraguay Master Hsu gave two seminars to students majoring in arts and design at the Catholic University and at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts.

This renowned artist also painted two Lotus paintings, on walls at the Affiliated Hospital of the Catholic University, and at the Organization of Ibero-American States.

The visit of Master Hsu to the Republic of Paraguay offered the citizens a great opportunity to enjoy a unique art exchange experience.
