Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City hosts an afternoon-tea press conference for “Reporter Day”

Mr. Liang Kuang-Chung, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City made a welcoming speech and talked about Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy, the Taiwan– Vietnam relationship, the contribution of Taiwanese businessmen in Vietnam to Vietnam’s economy, and he encouraged Vietnamese students to go and study in Taiwan. He also wished them all a happy “Reporter Day”
The Education Division then gave an outline of Taiwan’s culture, life style, and education system, and also informed them about a number of up and coming educational conferences and events. The Cultural Division and the Economic Division were also invited to announce an up and coming Taiwan fair and the new VISA application requirements which are more lenient.
The journalists were all very interested in Taiwan and many have written reports since the press conference.
