A Global Research & Industry Alliance (GLORIA) delegation with members from four universities—Taipei Medical University, National Cheng Kung University, National Yang Ming University, National Central University—participated.
Boston has a nation-leading startup culture and so the Education Division of TECO in Boston helped organize a visit for the GLORIA representatives participating in Bio 2018 to MIT’s Media Lab, to learn about currently booming innovation and to discuss possibilities for international industrial–academic cooperation.
Boston University, one of the world’s top 100, has maintained a long-term relationship with the Education Division of TECO-Boston, and it has expressed an interest in sending students to do internships in Taiwan. International industrial-academic promotion and cooperation is a key aspect for GLORIA.
