Education Division in Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh holds Study in Taiwan seminar for Thu Duc High School students

To promote and give local high school students a better understanding of Taiwan’s education system and assist them to get better acquainted with Taiwan’s culture and environment, the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh held a Study in Taiwan Seminar at Thu Duc High school in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism held a summer camp in early July, and the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh assisted with student recruitment. It then held a Study in Taiwan seminar at Thu Duc High school in Ho Chi Minh City to give the students who were going to attend the summer camp a better understanding of Taiwan’s education, culture, and environment, and to explain the regulations that applied to them.

The students were very excited about having the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City holding the seminar at their college. Their vice principal, Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc, has been to Taiwan and when she was there, she visited Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, so the students had already heard many good things about the university. During the seminar, they asked for more details about the summer program and about Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism. The seminar at Thu Duc High school was a great success.
