Education Division of TECO in Vietnam holds two Study in Taiwan Seminars in January
On January 21, Lee Ming, director of the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Vietnam, and Phan Thi Hue, vice-rector of Ha Long University, signed an MOU on establishing a Taiwan Education Center at Ha Long University. The two parties will work together on offering Chinese language courses, and holding all kinds of promotional activities to give students in the broader Ha Long region better access to information about studying in Taiwan. On the same day, Director Lee Ming also presented a Study in Taiwan seminar at the university which attracted 100 participants.
The very next day, January 22, Chang Shu-Ching, Secretary of Education at TECO in Vietnam, presented a Study in Taiwan Seminar at Thai Nguyen University to 60 participants. She gave them some practical techniques for preparing to do the TOCFL language proficiency tests and told them about Taiwan’s current educational system, and the scholarships available. The seminar attracted enthusiastic feedback.
