Education Division of TECO in Vietnam holds a Taiwan Education Fair at the end of March

The Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office inVietnam held Taiwan Education Fairs at Thai Nguyen, Ha Noi, and Hai Phong from March 29 to 31, 2019 which were attended by 54 representatives of 28 universities in Taiwan.

Richard R.C. Shih, Representative at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, spoke at the opening of the education fair at the University of International and Foreign Language Studies, Vietnam National University. He pointed out that Taiwan is one of the countries in Asia that offers students an education of excellent quality, and the cost of living and the tuition fees in Taiwan are significantly lower than in Europe, America, Japan, and Singapore. There are now more than 60,000 Taiwanese entrepreneurs doing business in Vietnam  and these entrepreneurs  have created a strong demand for highly skilled human resources. As a result, as well as receiving a sound education without shouldering a heavy economic burden to do so, Vietnamese students who choose to study in Taiwan will also find it easier to find a good job when they graduate.

The three Taiwan Education Fairs attracted more than 4,000 Vietnamese students and their parents and were very lively.
