Harvard University Taiwanese Students Association Old Management Team & New Graduate Farewell Party Online
The Harvard University Taiwanese Students Association (HTSA) hosts a farewell party each year for the students who’ve just graduated and its previous management team. This year was no exception but this time, HTSA threw the party online so everyone could safely attend. Rose Chen, Director of the Education Division at TECO Boston, joined them to convey congratulations and celebrate with the graduates and wish everyone all the best for the future.
The management team organized several small activities that everyone could participate in. For example, for a Can you guess who this is? game, the attendees were shown childhood pictures of people and had to guess or figure out who each person was. A very moving video about the events of this year expressed appreciation to everyone whose efforts had helped HTSA to grow. When it was time for the students who’ve just graduated from Harvard University to talk about how they felt, some students even cried. They said how much they love HTSA: it’s like a big family that they truly love this and they’re very proud to be a part of it.
This year’s party had to be held online, but it was still filled with love and memories. The Education Division of TECO Boston hopes that the Taiwanese students will continue to stay united and show how proud they all are of Taiwan!
