The MOE Launched an Anti-bullying Stage Performance-Friends, Let’s Be Together, Premiering at TAIVS

The Ministry of Education (MOE) cooperated with the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts and the Six Arts Theatre to produce the anti-bullying stage performance ‘Friends, Let's Be Together’ by combining stage plays and elements close to young people. In conjunction with the ‘Friendly Campus Week’, it premiered on September 4 at Taipei Municipal Daan Vocational High School. In addition to strengthening teachers’ and students’ concept of preventing bullying on campus, it is also necessary to work with all sectors of society to prevent bullying on campus.
This stage performance describes that students in the class often get along with each other in a joking way, despite their harmonious feelings, and ignoring respect for each person’s unique characteristics while causing harm to others. The class tutor shares their own experience of being bullied in the process of studying to lead students to understand the importance of ‘understanding, respect and tolerance’ and find each person’s unique and precious value.
In the follow-up period from September to November, 15 campus tours will be conducted across the whole nation. Through such tours around the nation, people will be aroused to jointly show their concern and encourage students to be brave and say ‘no’ to campus bullying!
