“Study in Taiwan” Presentation at the 27th Hong Kong International Education & Careers Expo

The two-day 27th Hong Kong International Education and Careers Expo, organized by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, was held on May 29 and May 30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Sophia Hsiang Ping Ma, Education Counselor at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong was invited to host a Study in Taiwan session.

Ms. Ma outlined the advantages of studying in Taiwan and her session also included topics such as choosing and applying to attend a university in Taiwan, and opportunities for doing an internship or working after graduating.

After the session, audience members went to an area designated the Taiwan Education Zone to talk with people from nine different universities. The participating universities were Chang Jung Christian University, Chihlee University of Technology, China University of Technology, Da Yeh University, Fo Guang University, Huafan University, HungKuo Delin University of Technology, National Central University, and Tajen University.
Representatives of these universities gave students who are interested in studying in Taiwan and their parents more information about their universities and various department programs, scholarships available, and practical advice in response to many questions.

Top
