MOE earmarks 3.7 billion NT for a three-year project to reduce the gap in reading resources
Representatives of the Ministry of Education, local government executives, and representatives of libraries across the island signed a Reading Promotion Declaration in a public rally on Wednesday to coincide with the World Book Day. The group pledged to promote reading in all parts of society. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has earmarked 3.7 billion NT for a three-year project to reduce the gap in reading resources between rural and urban areas.
