“2014 Taiwan Culture Week” held at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University
“Taiwan Culture Week” is routinely held in January each year at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) by the Taiwanese Student Association at APU. This full week offers a wide range of events that are designed to introduce many of the customs and social conventions of Taiwan to other overseas students and to the local Japanese people.
On January 17, a drama filled with both sorrow and ultimate fulfillment was staged at APU’s Millennium Hall. The two main characters acted very well, telling an engrossing story, and others gave wonderful dancing and sign language performances.
The Taiwan Culture Week has become a well-known event in recent years. The wonderful ideals of the students from Taiwan and their energetic performances always draw positive responses and acclaim from visitors and audiences alike.
