The Ministry of Education is implementing a program to popularize personal computers. On August 29, the ministry held a ceremony to donate personal computers, with President Ma Ying-jeou presiding. The program is being implemented in an attempt to provide economically disadvantaged schoolchildren with a better digital application opportunity.
