Life education is the core and the most fundamental value of education. For the first time the MOE designated October 2013 as the "Month of Life Education", and it held a press conference on “Activities related to the Month of Life Education in 2013” in the fifth floor auditorium of the MOE on October 1st. Administrative Deputy Minister Chen Der-hwa (陳德華) and Department of Student Affairs and Special Education Director General Liu Chung-ching (劉仲成) co-chaired the launching ceremony.
