National Taiwan University’s 5-day Student Recruitment Tour to Malaysia

The Alumni Association of National Taiwan University, Malaysia, organized a briefing at Chong Hwa Independent High School in Kuala Lumpur for students who might want to pursue their undergraduate studies at National Taiwan University, or elsewhere in Taiwan.
Mr. Chia Song Choy, the principal of Chong Hwa Independent High School, opened the briefing session, warmly welcoming the National Taiwan University delegation. He encouraged the students to be self-improving and always prepare themselves for challenges, to better adapt to university life in future.
On June 22, 2017, three speakers from NTU introduced the courses, equipment and facilities this outstanding university has to offer: Mr. Hung Tai-hsiung, director of NTU Office of Academic Affairs, Mr. Chou Han-Tong, head of Overseas Students Advising Division, and Professor Chang Feng-Cheng, from the NTU School of Forestry and Resource Conservation.
Mr. Chu To-Ming, Director of the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia was also invited to attend and he provided information about studying in Taiwan.
As well as Chong Hwa Independent High School, the NTU delegation visited five other high schools during their 5-day student recruitment tour to Malaysia, from June 19 to 23. The schools are: Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School; Han Chiang High School, Penang; Foon Yew High School Johor Bahru campus; Foon Yew High School Kulai campus; and Pin Hwa High School, Klang.
