Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh holds Study in Taiwan seminar at Nguyen Huu Huan High School

The Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh held a Study in Taiwan Seminar at Nguyen Huu Huan high school on February 6, 2018, to promote Taiwan’s education and give the students there a better understanding of Taiwan. Nguyen Huu Huan high school has a Chinese club with over 200 student members.

The Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh held the seminar during the morning assembly at Nguyen Huu Huan high school to introduce Taiwan’s education, culture, and food to the more than 1,000 students gathered in the courtyard.

The event held in Nguyen Huu Huan high school was a great success. The students were very excited to have the Education Division come to their school. For many of them this was the first time that they had heard Mandarin spoken by a native speaker. They were also amazed to hear the number of Vietnamese and overseas Vietnamese children who are currently living in Taiwan.

The students asked for more details about studying in Taiwan during the seminar, and afterwards, many students told their teachers that they wanted to attend the summer Mandarin program and they have registered to attend.
