On October 20, 2018, a Conversational Mandarin Group was launched at San Francisco Public Library as the result of a collaboration between the library and Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco. The Mandarin learning group is for beginners who want to learn some basic conversational Mandarin in a fun setting. The free 8-week session is being conducted by an experienced instructor from the University of San Francisco and is open to the public.
