This initiative focuses on constructing a friendly and diverse learning system for older adults to address the challenges posed by Taiwan's transition into a super-aged society. The system aims to assist older adults in adapting to societal changes and achieving active and successful aging. Guided by the core vision of "Sustainable Aging Learning, Optimizing Later Life," the project seeks to expand learning opportunities, enhance learning outcomes of older adults, and promote social harmony and intergenerational inclusion by integrating governmental and societal resources. This approach provides a forward-looking strategy to tackle the challenges of a super-aged society.

  1. Expand Learning Access

Ensure that older adults have equal access to learning resources, narrow the urban-rural gap, and encourage active participation in learning among older adults.

  1. Enhance Professional Quality

Strengthen curriculum design and the professionalization of related talents to meet the diverse learning needs of older adults and improve their learning satisfaction and effectiveness.

  1. Strengthen Technology Application

Promote digital learning and the use of smart technology to improve digital literacy among older adults, narrow the digital divide, and assist seniors in adapting to technological changes in society.

  1. Empower Later Life

Provide health promotion and retirement preparation courses and develop curriculum modules related to retirement readiness to help the elderly achieve an active and successful later life.

  1. Achieve Age-Friendliness

Promote age equity education, eliminate age discrimination, build an inclusive and friendly society, and enhance the social status and dignity of the elderly.

  1. Promote Intergenerational Inclusion

Deepen intergenerational learning and exchange activities to foster interaction and understanding between generations, creating a harmonious and prosperous society for every generation.
