2013 SACO International Education Fair in Stockholm
The Education Division of the Taipei Mission in Sweden took part in the 2013 SACO International Education Fair in Stockholm on November 28, 29, and 30, 2013. This annual education fair is the largest educational exhibition held in Stockholm. Many local Swedish universities, along with more than 30 foreign universities from 20 countries also took participated in this occasion to showcase and introduce the programs they offer to Swedish students. The foreign universities included New York University (USA) and the University of West London (UK) and others. Apart from representatives of the various universities, officials from ten diplomatic offices, including those of Taiwan, Japan, France, Germany, the United States, and Canada, were also present to promote studying in their country.

The Education Division of the Taipei Mission in Sweden is keen to encourage Swedish students to study in Taiwan. During the three days of the international education fair, Swedish students have the opportunity to get lots of practical information about education in Taiwan; especially in the areas of higher education and Chinese learning. This is always an excellent opportunity for the Education Division to promote the international higher education program, summer school programs, Chinese learning. The division can provide practical information about Taiwan and answer any related questions Swedish people might raise.

Approximately twenty-five thousand Swedish students visited this international education fair this year. Most students asked the officers from the Education Division for information about what scholarships are available, short-term and summer courses, English degree programs, and Chinese learning programs. The Swedish students expressed great interest in visiting and studying in Taiwan.
