Gender Equity Education Act in Effect for Five Years Now

The Gender Equity Education Act has been in effect for five years now, since being promulgated on June 23rd, 2004. The Minister of Education, Cheng Jei-cheng, held a press conference on June 24th to commemorate the anniversary. Minister Cheng attended the conference and said a special work group will be established to deal with issues about gender equity and continue to strengthen gender equity education.
