Minister Cheng Jei-cheng Hand in Hand with Paiwan Children, Having Fun Together

The Ministry of Education on July 8 announced that eight cultural and educational foundations - Teco Technology, Cardinal Tien, Hsin Kang, Common Wealth Magazine, King Car, Caterpillar, China Development Industrial Bank and Delta Electronics - had been elected 2009 Model Welfare Groups in the Promotion of Education. Minister Cheng and Paiwan children had fun together, holding hands and singing old Paiwan-language children's songs. He hopes that more businesses will assist the government in promoting education.
