Ministry of Education Announces the Draft of "Test-Free Senior High School Admission"

Test-Free Senior High School Admission

On June 29th, Ministry of Education announced the draft of "Test-Free Senior High School Admission." Political Deputy Minister, Lu Mu-lin (right), hosted the press conference, and said the Ministry is planning on three admission channels, which are "students recommended by junior high schools", "students submit application", and "students register via their residential location." The Ministry also plans to cancel one round of the Basic Competence Tests for Junior High School starting 2012; current testing subjects will remain the same for admission.
